Magogoni Secondary School

Fully funded through donations to Watoto Wenye Nguvu, the secondary school was completed in 2008 and now offers education to over 360 students in the community, many of whom are sponsored children. It has become one of the premiere secondary schools in this part of Kenya. After completing rigorous requirements to become funded by the Kenyan government, the school has 20 teachers and and staff, a computer lab, science laboratory, and a home science laboratory which provides vocational training in welding, carpentry, fashion design and tailoring.

While the teaching and administrative staff is paid by the government the costs to maintain the computer and science labs must be borne by the students.
